About the Role: Real Estate Development Manager

As a Land Development Manager, you'll have the unique opportunity to work alongside a dynamic and dedicated growing team of industry professionals, driving our real estate development department and shaping the future of real estate investment. Your role will be pivotal in executing our strategic vision, expanding our investor base, and driving revenue growth to new heights. With Ari's guidance and mentorship, you'll have the support and resources you need to thrive and succeed in this exciting role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of our real estate development projects to achieve our business plans and financial goals.
• Create and manage land development budgets specific to the projects, monitor progress, and track invoices.
• Understand all components of the land development process for each project, including the timing and sequencing of each phase.
• Secure our ability to deliver paper lots/finished lots on time for the projects and play a key role in the planning process for the jurisdiction.
• Anticipate and fulfill all requirements needed to secure City Permits for the projects and understand design-related components necessary to satisfy jurisdictional requirements.
• Oversee the conceptual plan, preliminary plat, and final plat development processes specifically tailored to each project.
• Obtain approval for common area landscape plans and direct civil engineers on improvement plan issues and schedules for each project.
• Prepare trade specification scopes of work, bid packages, and construction contracts specific to each project.
• Evaluate bid results by division for development projects and coordinate with dry utility companies for plan preparation, service agreements, easement dedication, and schedules.
• Inspect improvements for the projects to ensure compliance with plans and coordinate the start of phase construction with contractors and agencies.
• Communicate effectively with other Land staff and General Contractors specifically for projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned related to specific development projects.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of combined experience in the land development industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, Civil Engineering, Planning, or Construction Management.
• Ability to read improvement plans, formulate budgets, and understand accounting principles.
• Strong project management skills.
