Position: Business Development Manager

 

We are transforming the world of entrepreneurs and capital through it’s  modern back office platform servicing start-ups, private equity, venture capital, family offices, Funds and any private firms and their investors.

We are a fast growing, innovative fintech company looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial business development representative who will be responsible for generating a new business pipeline through prospecting opportunities as well as managing the existing client base.

Our solution is highly desired by our target clients – the issue is connecting with our clients and educating them on what we provide. 

This is a new role for our company and we expect the right person to grow with our firm and take a strategic role in the company long term.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of discovering business initiatives through the performance of extensive research and consultative outbound prospecting. You would join our team full time and be preferably be based in the Miami area (but we have flexibility there for work from home).

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Source new business and revenue through outbound prospecting efforts.
  • Perform extensive research to better position yourself for effective tactical and strategic outbound sales efforts.
  • Manage, forecast, and report sales activity and pipeline to meet revenue targets and company goals.
  • Reflect and recognize patterns in commercial conversations, and collaborate with our commercial and product teams to capitalize on new go-to-market opportunities.

Experience and Skills

  • Experience with the worlds of finance and technology is a plus but not necessary.  Our clients are privately held companies that have private investors. An understanding of private capital, alternative investments, wealth management or capital markets is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and passionate about working with entrepreneurs.
  • Must be self-accountable and be able to work independently.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity, empathetic personality, passionate, competitive, and organized.
  • Eager to conquer new challenges on a daily basis.
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Well-rounded with varied interests, background and experience.
  • Experience with account-based marketing approaches a plus
