The Investor Relations Associate (IRA) is an investor relations support role within our Investor Relations team. The IRA supports our clients with the administrative and service functions of the business. The IRA will operate from our corporate office in Aventura. The IR team will collectively support the firm's clients. A successful IRA understands and excels in all systems and IR processes. Respect for the client and our internal partners is paramount in importance and central to the role. The ability to communicate effectively and efficiently is critical to the role.

RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENTS

·       Provides infrastructure support to several clients from the Aventura office location.

·       Driven to provide superior service for both internal and external partners.

·       Creates internal partnerships with other functional support groups,

·       Works efficiently independently as well as in a team environment

·       Applies industry knowledge and problem-solving skills within the framework of the role.

·       Manages corporate records.

·       Handles customer requests and inquiries.

·       Manages corporate calendars and is familiar with the financial industry.

·       Provides administrative support including uploading documents, answering phones and data entry.

·       Works well under pressure.



QUALIFICATIONS

·       Associate's Degree; in Finance, Business Administration, Insurance, Economics, Communications or Equivalent field, or equivalent work experience

·       3+ years of experience in customer service, sales-related occupations



SKILLS AND ABILITIES

·       Ability to work independently and set appropriate priorities to meet deadlines

·       Attention to detail

·       Database record maintenance and reporting

·       Excellent communication skills, including strong presentation skills and writing ability.

·       P.C. software applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

·       Preparation and presentation of materials

·       Self-motivator and creative thinker

·       Strong analytical and time management skills

·       Knowledge of financial services
